Raspberry Pi Model B+ Black Case Enclosure

Raspberry Pi - Model B+ Enclosure (Black)

The Raspberry Pi Model B+ is THE new favorite of development platforms, so the last thing that you'd want is for something bad to happen to it. Why not protect it with one of these snazzy plastic enclosures? These cases protect the B+ from things like rogue wires that might short it out while still allowing full access to the board as well as proper airflow to keep your new toy cool! Simply snap the RPi B+ into the bottom half of the enclosure, then snap the two sides together.

The enclosure provides slots to access the GPIO header, USB ports, Ethernet, microSD card, HMDI, 3.5mm jack, and CSI connectors as well as rubber feet and vents to ensure the board gets proper cooling and Pi Camera module mounting holes. All of the status LEDs on the Pi are visible through the case thanks to tunnel recesses embedded in the design and the two piece case can be taken apart without unplugging any cables. This is a really slick case and once you've gotten your hands on a Raspberry Pi, you'll want to snag one of these to put it in!

Note: This case does NOT include a Raspberry Pi Model B+.

Dimensions: 93.4mm x 62.7mm x 31.1mm

Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen Display
The 7” Touchscreen Monitor for Raspberry Pi gives users the ability to create all-in-one, integrated projects such as tablets, infotainment systems and embedded projects. The 800 x 480 display connects via an adapter board which handles power and signal conversion. Only two connections to the Pi are required; power from the Pi’s GPIO port and a ribbon cable that connects to the DSI port present on all Raspberry Pi’s.  Touchscreen drivers with support for 10-finger touch and an on-screen keyboard will be integrated into the latest Raspbian OS for full functionality without a physical keyboard or mouse.

  • Turn your Raspberry Pi into a touch screen tablet, infotainment system, or standalone device.
  • Truly Interactive - the latest software drivers will support a virtual ‘on screen’ keyboard, so there is no need to plug in a keyboard and mouse.
  • Make your own ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) devices including a visual display. Simply connect your Raspberry Pi, develop a Python script to interact with the display, and you’re ready to create your own home automation devices with touch screen capability.
  • A range of educational software and programs available on the Raspberry Pi will be touch enabled, making learning and programming easier on the Raspberry Pi.

How much current Raspberry Pi draw

Shown in the video is a low cost USB Voltage Current Multimeter, it show the voltage and current at USB port alternatively. Maybe it's not a professional equipment, I can use it to monitor monitor and estimate power consumption on my RPi.

In order to eliminate the extra power draw by accessories, the Raspberry Pi connect USB power cable and network cable only, for sure with SD Card also.
