Thonny is a very great cross-platform Python IDE.
To install Thonny on Ubuntu Desktop for Raspberry Pi, simple enter the command in Terminal:
$ sudo apt install thonny
After installed, you can enter "thonny" in Terminal, or search "thonny" in Activities.
